Each year, the generous donations from our community light up our Harbour Lights tree on Long Wharf in Saint John. As a marker of a milestone of the Campaign, when the campaign’s total reaches $50,000, the star atop the tree is lit. The energy for the trees’ lights is provided in kind by our partners at Saint John Energy.
The tree is built and maintained by operations staff of Port Saint John. This reflects hundreds of person-hours over the course of the year!

Thank you for considering raising funds for Harbour Lights. Here are some options for setting up your corporate or individual/group fundraisers for Harbour Lights.
Via Canada Helps
You can also “Start a Fundraiser” connected to the Harbour Lights Campaign page on Canada Helps. Once on the page if you click on “Start a Fundraiser” it connects directly to the charity. Canada Helps make the process of receiving donations for your fundraiser easy, and it ensures the donors you attract receive tax receipts by email as soon as they donate.
Via PayPal Giving Fund (either through Facebook & GoFundMe)
We’ve connected The Harbour Lights Campaign to PayPal’s Giving Fund and the best part of this platform is it charges no transaction fees to the charity. Both Facebook fundraising and GoFundMe use PayPal Giving to transfer funds to the charities for which you choose to fundraise.
